Charterhouse is currently conducting a search for an internationally renowned multinational corporation that provides a wide range of consumer solutions to its clientele in Europe and the Middle East. Due to their continuous expansion in the region, our client is seeking an experienced Head of Contract and Procurement to lead and oversee the MENA region from their Dubai-based office.

As the Head of Contract and Procurement, you will be responsible for directing the contracting and procurement functions of the organization, ensuring that all contract and procurement activities adhere to the company’s established policies and procedures.

In this managerial role, you will supervise the preparation and negotiation of all contracts, develop contract management strategies and processes, and closely monitor the entire contract lifecycle. The position will require you to assess and manage risks associated with various contracts related to the hospitality, catering, travel, and tourism sectors, and collaborate closely with the legal department based in Europe for necessary approvals and inquiries.

Furthermore, you will offer guidance and training to employees on contract management and related matters, as well as identify suppliers and conduct market research to discover new and emerging products, services, and technologies that can bring added value to the company.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities will encompass managing calls for tenders/requests for proposals, drafting RFPs, publishing, vendor selection, negotiating terms, and securing contract signatures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must be experienced professionals in Contracts and Procurement, with a proven track record (minimum of 15 years) as a Contracts or Procurement Manager in an international corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working both independently and as part of a small team to oversee contracts and procurement on a global scale. You should hold a relevant degree from an international university and be a member of relevant professional organizations.
