Overview: Join our dynamic team at PwC and embark on a career within Global Information Reporting. This role offers you the chance to support an established team in assisting clients with a broad spectrum of tax information reporting and related tax matters. You will gain a global perspective and a deep understanding of tax challenges arising from evolving business structures, the rise of digital enterprises, developments in regional and global financial institutions, and the evolution of tax laws and regulations by governments.
Our Global Information Reporting tax team provides guidance on tax laws, reporting, legislation, and planning strategies, primarily for financial institutions and governmental entities. You will contribute to a wide range of tax matters, encompassing both domestic and international tax regimes. Key areas of focus include Economic Substance Regulations, FATCA, CRS, DAC6, and broader operational and regulatory taxes such as EU WHT reclaims and QI.

Requirements:
As a Senior Associate, you will be an integral part of a problem-solving team, assisting in resolving complex business issues from strategy development to execution. Key responsibilities and skills for this management level include:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional services consulting environment, with a focus on tax matters related to Global Information Reporting.
- Preferred experience in financial services (banking/asset management/insurance).
- Knowledge of US tax and WHT matters is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Encouraging open communication and seeking input from all team members, including those who may be more reserved.
- Effectively addressing ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiating candid coaching conversations at all organizational levels.
- Transitioning seamlessly between strategic thinking and managing specific details.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and proactively discussing potential solutions before they are requested.
- Contributing technical expertise within your area of specialization.
